      The Gibson Les paul first made it's appearance in 1952 with it's gold finish, P90 pick ups and trapeze tailpiece this guitar was destined to make rock'n'roll history. Seth Lover designed the humbucking pick up in       1957 which changed the sound of rock'n'roll and due to the output of the pick up has been favoured by many rock guitarists over the decades.The Sunburst finish was introduced in 1958 with the original 1959           being regarded today as the holygrail of electric guitars fetching a small fortune.
